The Tecnica 188 MPGE inverter is a 150A DC welder designed especially for the professional welder. The 188's 'GE' rating means that it has special electronic protection built in to guarantee smooth and reliable running power. The key benefit of this model is the generator protection device which protects the electronics when running the welder on a portable generator.

Suitable for arc electrodes from 1.6mm - 4.0mm, the 188 also offers TIG welding capabilities with the optional TIG kit.
