• Special alloy having a thicker than normal flux coating
• The extra concentration of flux not only protects the core wire from overheating but it also produces large volumes of gas that will remove more metal per electrode
• The external coating melts at a reduced rate to the core wire
• When melted, the chemicals which form the coating, create a gas of intense velocity and cause a blasting action that blows away the molten metal and leaves a clean groove ready for welding
• It will remove porous, cracked, fatigued or worn metal and provides for a perfect bonding of the weld metal
• No oxygen is required
