• Grade 2 Titanium Tig Rod
• Most common commercially pure, readily available, titanium grade Tig rod with the lowest cost
• Highest strength to weight ratio of any metal - approximately 45% lighter than steel, 60% heavier than aluminium but three times stronger than both!
• Wide continuous service temperature range of -196°C to 593°C
• Commonly used in industrial corrosion applications due to its excellent corrosion resistance against acids, chlorides and salt
• Applications include process equipment like pressure vessels, columns, tanks, heat exchangers, shafts and valves and fittings
• For best results carefully clean the weld surface area to fully remove contaminants before welding
• Used with 100% Argon shielding gas
• Sold per rod
• Available in 1.6mm and 2.4mm
