Welds 2-3mm pins to 2-8mm studs in mild steel, stainless steel or aluminium
The Power Spot 5700 “Aluminium” is a compact and lightweight portable stud welder which through capacitor discharge technology welds in a few milliseconds weld studs up to Ø 8 mm on ferrous and non-ferrous metals with excellent aesthetic results and without alteration of the underlying sheet metal.
The welding of the stud is simple and immediate. It does not require shielding gas or special preparations nor machining of the work piece.
Its technical features make the Power Spot 5700 “Aluminium” the ideal tool for welding aluminium or steel studs in the field of auto body repair and also for applications such as customizing of vehicles, fastening of paneling and of internal elements, etc.
The maneuverability and ease of use of the standard gun and the double ground cable and clamps allow the welding of studs even in the most difficult places to reach, thus making the Power Spot 5700 the ideal solution. The LCD panel displays in a simple and intuitive way the operational functions such as:
- selection of stud material and diameter
- selection of base material to which the stud should be welded
- indication of the working voltage
- indication of the applied force
- weldability check between stud and base material
